Which difficulty level suits you? Pick the level that suits the least experienced person in the group — that way everyone enjoys it instead of struggling. You can select more than one level.
Loading available levels…1 Easy Trails are usually well marked, comfortable and easy, with no particular difficulty. Almost no ascents, or very gentle ones. 2 Moderate Comfortable, usually well-marked trails, with ascents that may be somewhat steep or sections that are a little challenging. 3 Challenging Mountain trails, not always well marked, with ascents that can be demanding and distances that can be long. Anyone with basic fitness will manage just fine — most mountain routes are at this level. 4 Hard Trails may be narrow and exposed, with very steep sections that can require using your hands (scrambling). Ascents may be tiring, technical, hard or drawn out. Requires physical preparation or good fitness. 5 Very hard Trails may be very long with substantial cumulative ascent, on sharp, steep gradients, with significant technical difficulty and high exposure. May require special gear, technical knowledge and experience — and above all, excellent alpine fitness.
