1. Services and content on the Site

1.1 The Site provides information, content, maps, suggested routes, tips, guides, and original or user-generated content in the field of hiking and the outdoors.
1.2 All content and services are provided "as-is" and as available, without any warranty or representation by the Company.
1.3 The Company may, at any time and without prior notice, modify, suspend, discontinue, or update the content and services, in whole or in part.

2. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

2.1 Any use of the Site, of the information on it, or of the services provided through it, is at the user's sole and full responsibility.
2.2 Any activity in the field — including hiking, outdoor trekking, adventure sports, urban tours, or any other activity — undertaken in reliance on information from the Site, is at the user's sole responsibility.
2.3 The Company, its employees, directors, shareholders, representatives, business partners, subcontractors, and anyone acting on its behalf (together: the "Protected Parties") will not bear any liability — contractual, tortious, statutory, or otherwise — for any damage, loss, expense, cost, or injury to body, mind, or property, direct or indirect, foreseeable or unforeseeable, caused as a result of using the information, including in cases of negligence or gross negligence, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
2.4 The Company makes no commitment as to the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness of the content, and is under no obligation to update it.
2.5 The user is solely responsible for verifying that the route or activity is suitable to their abilities, health, available gear, weather conditions, terrain, security and legal status, and for taking all necessary safety measures.
2.6 This clause applies also in cases of alleged negligence, misrepresentation, or any other legal cause of action.

2a. Application to every visitor of the Site

2a.1 These Terms of Use apply to anyone entering the Site, viewing its content, or making any use of it, whether a registered user or not.
2a.2 The mere act of opening any page on the Site, viewing content, or using any service constitutes use of the Site for the purposes of these Terms of Use, and gives them binding effect against the user.
2a.3 Every visitor or user of the Site, registered or not, expressly declares and agrees that the mere use of, or access to, the Site constitutes an absolute, irrevocable, and unconditional waiver of any claim, demand, or lawsuit — contractual, tortious, statutory, or otherwise — against the Company, the Site operators, its employees, directors, shareholders, representatives, business partners, suppliers, and subcontractors, relating directly or indirectly to use of the Site or reliance on its content.
2a.4 The provisions of this clause apply also in the case of one-off, incidental, or unplanned use, and apply to the maximum extent permitted under any law, including in cases of alleged negligence or gross negligence.

3. User content

3.1 Any content uploaded by a user — including text, images, video, files, and links — is at the user's sole responsibility.
3.2 The user declares that they hold all rights to the content, or have obtained all permissions required for its publication.
3.3 By uploading content, the user grants the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and time-unlimited licence to use, reproduce, distribute, edit, publish, remove, or display the content in any media, without compensation.
3.4 The Company may remove or modify any content at its discretion.

4. External links

4.2 The existence of a link does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement of the linked site's content.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 All copyrights, patents, and intellectual property in the Site — including texts, designs, graphics, photos, images, code, and trademarks — belong exclusively to the Company.
5.2 The content of the Site may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, transferred to a third party, or used commercially in any way without the Company's prior written consent.
5.3 Notwithstanding the above, direct links to pages on the Site may be shared on social networks, provided that the share is made without modifying the content and in a way that preserves attribution to Hike Like Me.

6. Privacy, data protection, and GDPR / CNIL

6.1 The Company operates in accordance with French law and the GDPR regulations of the European Union, and under the supervision of the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).
6.2 Any personal information collected from users will be used only for the purposes of providing, improving, and securing the services, or as required by law.

9. Changes to the Terms of Use

The Company may amend the Terms of Use at any time, and continued use of the Site following publication of the new version constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Jurisdiction and governing law

10.1 These Terms of Use are governed solely by French law and applicable European law.
10.2 Any request, claim, or legal proceeding relating directly or indirectly to these Terms of Use or to use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunal de commerce de Paris.
10.3 Notwithstanding clause 10.2, the Company reserves the full and unlimited right to take legal action, at its sole discretion, against any user who breaches the Terms of Use, harms the Site in any way, or infringes copyright in its content — in courts in Israel or any other court it deems appropriate.
